The Acer 10.1 Aspire One is the perfect little computer to travel with. As a motorcyclist, I needed something that would fit easily into the tank bag or side case. After reading other peoples reviews I opted for the larger 10.1 screen, this was a good choice. Anything smaller would make surfing the web a chore. By using F11, I can get a full sized internet web browser window and view sites with very little scrolling problems. The touch pad is quite versatile, allowing you to zoom in/out as well as scroll up/down. The Acer has a regular operating system. I had a licenses copy of Office that I installed. There is no CD drive on this machine, so installing software takes a little planning, I put my CD in my desktop machine, and installed from my home network, it worked great. So far the battery life has been sufficient. The Acer boots quickly, and is so light to carry. I found a nice case for it at Best Buy.
